What Are The Ramifications For Drinking and Driving
If a person is caught drinking and driving they will be punished. Depending on the state will determine the drinking and driving laws. Generally speaking, the punishment will be harsher with a higher consumption of alcohol level. For example, if a person is caught drinking and driving and has a blood alcohol content which shows a low consumption of alcohol they may receive a lesser punishment.

Commonly, drinking and driving punishments will vary based on the number of offenses a person is caught committing the act. Common punishments of drinking and driving include: temporary loss of driver’s license, payment of fines, jail time, alcohol classes, and permanent loss of driver’s license. In most states, if a person gets caught drinking and driving and receives a DWI or a DUI, more than three times, they will lose their driver’s license indefinitely.
